Experiments
Boardgame: Lithosphere
In 2023 I had an idea for a boardgame called Lithosphere; a co-op resource gathering game where you explore the underground, and upgrade your mining machine to get further.
I made a prototype in Tabletop simulator (since the board was too big to make phyisically), along with a video explaining the game.
The game was played behind a big screen, where players would each have a character sheet with abilities.

2d animation
Around 2020 I discovered After Effects, and how it could be used to animate images.
I pushed this a bit further in 2021, when I learned about 3d layers. This would lead to some small animation experiments made for my personal project: BoundWave (still named LockBound back then).
3d Animation
In 2023 I discovered 2 things:
Microsoft had their own 3d model making software (mostly for 3d printing purposes), called Microsoft 3d Builder.
And if you downloaded a beta version of After Effect you could add 3d models to a scene.
So using these two tools I created 2 short scenes using a self made spaceship.

Film experiments
(There is no sound in the video)
Around 2023 I was doing some film related tasks for school. But outside that I wanted to test a couple of things as well.
First, I wanted to experiment with compositions. Using After Effects I created transitions between shots as if they were comic panels. The important part with it was that the comic panels made sense within the space of the car, (for instance, the shifter is right to the clutch pedal, so the shots are as well.)
For the second experiment I tried out a green screen and models.
Being a very big fan of the 1960s puppet series: Thunderbirds, I wanted to recreate one of those action shots.
I made a treadmill with lego, placed a model with a string on it, and recorded it. After adding some more elements to it with After Effects, the shot really came together.
