Tuintje, Boompje, Beestje
Tuintje, Boompje, Beestje is a boardgame created for the Municipality of Leeuwarden. The goal of the game was to make the citizens of Leeuwarden aware of biodiversity and soil creatures in their garden.
The game is still in development, but we are planning on pitching it to a publisher.
Players need to score the highest amount of points by buying plants and placing them in their garden. The placement of the plants is also important, for you can get bonus points if you chain some plants together.
Plants can be bought with resource cards, which players can 'find' in their garden. Beware though, there might be some nasty suprises hidden in your garden as well (like snails, poison, or stone tiles).
Explaning the game isn't going to do it justice. If you ever want to play Tuintje, Boompje, Beestje, just send me a message and we'll arrange something.
Tuintje, Boompje, Beestje was made in a group project. My contribution to it was designing, testing, and implementing the core gameplay and surrounding mechanics.
